Ananda Shipyard and Slipways Limited (ASSL) incorporated in 2 June 1999 as a private limited company. It was converted to public limited company on 20 December 2009 by a special resolution. The objective of the company is primarily to carry out shipbuilding activities. It is a 100% export oriented industrial complex and also active in the field of manufacture of marine equipments and aids to navigation. It has generated the first ongoing ship export from Bangladesh in 2008 to Denmark
